Meet the cast

 EMILY   LAVERDIERE    (Charlotte)

Emily (aka Em Lav) performs in three musical improv groups with Catalyst Comedy. She also writes and performs in scripted musicals. She embraces (and hopes to rise to) the challenge of not bursting out into song during this non-musical show.

Dale   Stones    (Luke)

Dale is a burlesquer, actor, acrobat, and social armadillo who is more interested in the snack table than the main event. He likes awkward hugs and downplaying serious injuries. Dale is happy to share a yogurt with you.

NICOLE   ABBONDANZA   (Polly)

Nicole has trained at the Michael Chekhov Actors Studio Boston for five years. After playing Polly in the staged reading of FemRom, she is thrilled to return to the character in this production.

RAMY   ABDELGHANI   (Narrator)

Ramy is an actor, writer, director, comedian, and co-produces ImprovBoston’s late-night variety show, LaughterRisk. You might know him from sketch comedy groups Boston Sketch Company and Mister Bismuth, improv group Bonfire, or as Officer Nassif on the Solutions to Problems sci-fi podcast.

Alex   Deroo   (Jack)

Alex is a North Shore/Boston based actor with a BFA in Theatre Performance from Salem State University.  His most recent credit is playing Hamlet in Creative Collective’s production of Hamlet. When he is not on stage he enjoys playing music, listening to vinyl, and reading graphic novels. He is very excited to be part of the FemRomLive team and is ready to help bring this hilarious play to life.

PIYALI   MUKHERJEE    (April)

Piyali (Peels) is an improvisational comedian at ImprovBoston. She is also a producer of the Comedy Lab which runs on Wednesday and Sunday evenings. She has also been a cast member of Comedy, America 2018 and is also a part of Mister Bismuth's cast. She is incredibly excited to be working with this cast.

Austin   Wright   (Dylan)

Austin is an actor and musician.  He attended the Berklee College of Music for guitar performance and is currently in his third year at the Michael Chekhov Actors Studio Boston. This will be his debut theater performance.

CAITLIN    KENYON    (Beth)

Caitlin is a snacker, avid embroiderer, and proud cat mama. She has trained at SUNY Purchase College and Queen Mary University of London. Caitlin is overjoyed to be making her Boston stage debut with this hysterical, and talented cast!

Meet the crew

​jenna worden   (director)

Jenna is a director, stage manager, and lover of every kind of story telling. She is excited to revisit FemRom after directing the 2017 workshop. When she's not in the theater, you can find her daydreaming of one day having a house big enough for a Bernese Mountain dog.

Claire  Morse   (stage manager)

Claire graduated from Mount Holyoke College last spring, where she had spent her first two years denying her call to theater, and the following two years latching on to every single piece she could get her hands on. When she's not working she spends her time looking for discount flights around the world, and absorbing an inordinate amount of comedic media.
